Many patients suffer with palpitations but needless to say, these seldom occur when you are sitting in front of your GP or cardiologist.

InsideVue and Surrey Cardiovascular Clinic have developed an innovative solution to get around this problem. 

Patients who join our Heartrhythm Clinic are equipped with a miniature cardiac event monitor. In fact the monitor is a very small ECG recorder which is just the right size to fit in your jacket pocket or a handbag. 

When you feel a palpitation coming on, you can use the monitor to record a 30 second episode.  The recording can then be reviewed by one of our cardiologists to see just what is happening. 

The Heartrhythm Clinic comprises: training in how to use an event monitor, loan of the monitor itself for a month and a written report at the end of the loan period and a patient fact sheet which explains any anomalous rhythms in an easy to understand way.
