InsideVue NHS commissionable services

InsideVue works collaboratively with other healthcare providers to develop innovative, cost effective diagnostic solutions aimed at improving the quality and speed of patient service delivery.

The diagnostic programmes we develop are tested out with GPs and continuously refined and improved enabling PBC groups to commission with confidence in the knowledge that what is offered works.

• We have been providing NHS diagnostic ultrasound examinations in Surrey since May 2008, initially in partnership with BMI Hampshire Clinic. The service is now supported by its own Consultant Radiologist who undertakes some of the more specialised examinations and provides clinical governance. • During 2008 InsideVue and consultants from Surrey Cardiovascular Clinic jointly developed a community package that addresses the most common referrals made to secondary care: shortness of breath and palpitations. GPs told us that what they wanted was a fast, local service which provided answers and next step recommendations without the need for them to become involved in resource intensive POCT and interpretation. The package has been carefully designed to meet the needs of patients, their GPs, acute providers and crucially, enables implementation of NICE guidelines.
